About Me
Hello! Welcome to Therapy PNW. My name is Taren Williams and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. It seems as though I have always been drawn to this line of work and have worked for several years in a variety of settings involving mental health. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and feel honored to walk alongside an individual as they trust in me their life story/current difficulties.
I have a Masters Degree from Seattle University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington.
Services I Offer
I provide individual therapy to individuals 18 years of age and older. I believe there are many different reasons, big or small, to seek therapy. Whatever the reason, I’d be happy to touch base with you via a phone consultation to discuss what you are looking for in therapy. My experience lies in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
*COVID information: I currently offer both in person appointments as well as telehealth appointments. Please let me know what is most comfortable for you.
Services I do not offer: I do not offer crisis coverage. If you are experiencing an emergency or a threat to yourself or others, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
I do not provide the following services: forensic assessments (sometimes requested for divorce or custody cases, disability applications, or worker's compensation / liability claims), court-ordered treatment services, medication services, or case management. If you have questions regarding whether or not I can provide the services you need, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Individual Therapy
Sometimes we are struggling with anxiety. Sometimes depression. Past trauma. Sometimes we don’t know exactly what we are struggling with but know we could use some help. Therapy and progress can look different for everyone, and that is perfectly ok.

Out of Network:
I may be considered an out of network provider for your insurance company. Some insurance companies are willing to reimburse (or partially reimburse) fees for out-of-network services if you submit a superbill.
Rates:
Intake Session: $165
Individual Session: $145
I do offer several sliding scale spots, on a first come first serve basis. Please inquire about availability if a discounted rate is needed.
